'Some of' IMCA's Leaders over the Years

This collection of pictures is clearly invidious, but it certainly includes many but not all of the early movers and shakers at IMCA from 1982-2004.

Reg Revans was the philosophical inspiration for IMCA with his articulation of action learning. And the founding team included Keith Howard as initial MBA Chair, Sherril Kennedy as Head of Marketing Communications, Judith Atherton as Information Management and Systems CEO, Joanna Kozubska as Senior Tutor, Margaret Reid as second MBA Chair, Bob Ashworth as first Regional Director Asia, Charles Margerison as CEO IMCA in Australia, Barrie Pettman as Registrar, Frank Gerhard as successor Regional Director Asia, Tony Kennerley as Head of Economics, John Cheese as Director of Bank Marketing Programmes, Gordon Wills as Principal Jean Whittaker as Educational Management Chair, James Kable as Chair in IMCA Australia, Denise Johnson as Secretary to the Council, Alan Mumford as Foundation Professor of Action Learning and Peter Cooke as Professor of Transportation and Marketing.

Key early corporate clients were Dr James Espey CEO of IDV UK and IMCA’s first corporate MBA client in 1982, Dr Mohale Mahanyele CEO of National Sorghum Breweries in South Africa who was an IMCA MBA and DBA graduate who launched over 100 of his own managers, Dr Brian Wilson CEO of Allied Irish Banks IMCA’s first £1 million client, Dr Noel Hepworth CEO of the Chartered Institute of Public Accountancy which offered IMCA’s MBA to its members in London, Dr Rob Hermans CEO in turn of Segrams, Arthur Bell and Cruz del Campo in Seville and client on every occasion and Dr John Fyfe who worked with IMCA in the South Pacific whilst with the UK Ministry of Overseas Development and tutored on the first Vanuatu MBA Sets.
