Information technology is booming business. Not only in the Netherlands, but
worldwide, many organizations are having difficulties coping with the demand for
IT professionals. Consequently, it is difficult to find, hire and retain the
‘right’ people. The challenge at Cypres was to design and implement a
programme that would achieve this objective. This was accomplished by using IMCA
and IIP processes in conjunction with Business School Nederlands (BSN).
Investors in people (IIP) offers a methodical approach for determining and
communicating business goals and the development of people (on a voluntary
basis) to reach those goals. IIP was fully implemented by Cypres - the first
Dutch organization to obtained IIP certification.
